Today has been a rough day, to say the least. For the past week or so, I've been sleeping on the couch with a bad case of Pharyngitis. I went to the doctor's office last Tuesday, but the only thing to be done was to "wait it out." It wasn't until today, though, that some other treatment needed to be given. In short, the doctor diagnosed me with an abscess, and referred me to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist immediately. He made an incision in the abscess, which caused all of the bacteria and pus to come out.
Thankfully, I'm feeling much better. It was a rough morning, but the day ended well. I guess I could add this recovery to the list of things to be thankful for that I wrote about yesterday. God truly is good.
